An attack helicopter belonging to the military junta mistakenly killed dozens of the regime's own troops in Myaung Township.

According to Tuesday's report by the Irrawaddy, a local media outlet,  a resistance group in the area saw through their scopes the chopper killing at least 60 junta troops.

Before they were shot, the soldiers, in plainclothes, had burned villages.

It's assumed the clothes they were wearing caused them to be mistaken for resistance fighters.
